1. CONTENT OF PRESENTATION
** IMPORTANT – Oral presenters are asked to include within their presentation two or three slides as a brief introduction to their talk, giving the background and goals of the study **
2. AUDIOVISUAL EQUIPMENT
The following equipment will be available:
PowerPointComputer projection suitable for PowerPoint presentations (resolution 1024 x 768, screen 4:3)
|- Laser pointer||- Lectern and tie-clip microphone||- Remote control|
3. EMBEDDING FONTS
When saving your presentation, please follow these important steps to ensure that your fonts & logos are displayed correctly on our Show Computer - Click File -> Click Save As -> Within the Save As Window click Tools ->Click Save Options -> Tick Embed True Type Fonts -> Click OK -> Click Save.
Your fonts & logos will now be embedded within your presentation.
The best oral presentation per day will be awarded a certificate in the closing session 11.45 – 13.00 on Sunday 25th October 2015
5. SPEAKER PREPARATION
Speakers should meet with a member of the events team in the main meeting room; La Rocca, at least ONE HOUR before the start of the session in which the presentation will take place. They should ensure they have handed over their presentations and are happy with the equipment available for their talk.
It is very important that ALL speakers keep to their allotted time; 10mins presenting and 5mins discussion. The session chairmen will be briefed to stop speakers who go over their time.
Oral presenters are reminded that they must register to attend the Conference.
