Full Membership is open to those who have made substantial contributions to research in hypertension and cardiovascular disease, and so far approximately 180 scientists and clinicians have become members of the ECCR.

Student Membership is open to PhD students|trainees working in the field of cardiovascular medicine who have not yet published sufficiently to qualify for Full Membership. Student Membership is applicable for a maximum period of four years. Once students have completed their PhD and have the required number of publications, they will be required to re-apply for Full Membership.

There is currently no subscription fee for either Full or Student Membership of the ECCR.

Applications are invited from research workers in the field of blood pressure and cardiovascular research who wish to join the ECCR and support it in its aim of strengthening European research in this area.
