Applications are invited from research workers in the field of cardiovascular research who wish to join the ECCR and support it in its aim of strengthening European research in this area.

Full Membership is open to those who have made substantial contributions to research in cardiovascular disease, and so far approximately 220 scientists and clinicians have become members of the ECCR.

Student Membership is open to PhD students|trainees working in the field of cardiovascular medicine who have not yet published sufficiently to qualify for Full Membership. Student Membership is applicable for a maximum period of four years. Once students have completed their PhD and have the required number of publications, they will be required to re-apply for Full Membership.

There is currently no membership subscription fee for either Full or Student Membership of the ECCR and all members benefit from reduced registration fees at the Annual Scientific Meeting. Please note that only those who are accepted as members before 1st July will be eligible for the reduced member registration rate at the Annual Meeting. Applications received after this time will be considered by the Executive Committee at its next meeting, but the applicant will have to register for the meeting at the non-member rate.
